Natural Colors

No harmful chemicals? Check. Eco-friendly? Check. But what else makes natural dyeing so fun and exciting? The colors each ingredient produces! 

Due to the essence of natural dyeing where no environmentally harsh chemicals are being used, there isn't a way to exactly replicate a color. As a result, we start off by experimenting with different natural ingredients and fabrics to see what color will be produced, and often times, it's not what you might expect! But even after we perfect a recipe to produce a color, the results can vary piece to piece from slight tonal differences to almost a completely different color based on the fabric. It's like we're giving life to each piece through the natural dye, each with its own unique set of characteristics! Also, with time, you may start to see slightly different tones come out in the color. To us, this organic process not only feels natural, but much more personal.
